How to prepare for your braiding appointment
A little preparation makes the appointment smoother and the finished style neater.
Your hair
Come with clean, detangled, completely dry hair. Wash it the night before or the morning of your appointment, and skip heavy oils and products. Stretched or blown-out hair works best.
The braiding hair
Hair is included for knotless, box braids, feed-ins and Senegalese twists. For passion twists, kinky twists, crochet and goddess or boho styles, you bring or buy the hair. If you are not sure what to buy, ask Abla before your visit.
Plan your time
Appointments take from one to eight hours. Cornrows usually take one to two hours, knotless and box braids three to five, and goddess styles up to eight. Bring something to watch or listen to, and a phone charger.
At the studio
Abla works from a private suite inside Sola Salon Studios. Parking is free and so is Wi-Fi. Payment is collected after your service, by cash, card, Apple Pay or Cash App.
